LEE REGATTA

On May 11th, our annual club regatta rolled around again and the Marina was filled with excitement once more. The regatta offered races for all ages and abilities as well as face paint, live music, and lots of yummy treats for everybody all day! 😊

Before the pictures we'd like to say a special thanks to all the parents and volunteers who helped out on the day, without you we couldn't have done it!

London Metropolitan Regatta

Congratulations to both of our crews who attended London Metropolitan Regatta over the June bank holiday weekend.

On Saturday the Men's Quad qualified for the Junior 18 final and finished 3rd which was a good result!

The next day they placed first in the Tier 2 Open Men's quad, Big smiles all around!

The Women's Double placed 3rd in the Open double on Saturday in a straight final. On the Sunday they finished in first place in the Tier 2 double after qualifying from their heat. Well done to both Coaches and Athletes!

We made the most of Rod Stewarts visit to cork by opening our bar to the public,

I'm sure the evening was as enjoyable as it was profitable for the club and our volunteers.

Castleconnel Regatta

The racing season is well under way and we're back with another blog post filled with success, Our athletes attended Castleconnel Regatta on the 18th of May and proved that all those hard winter sessions paid off after all!😃

We're all hoping for plenty more silverware in the regattas to come and we wish everyone luck in the run up to champs!!!😉
